I just got back from the Friends of the Library Book Sale about 30 minutes ago and oh, but it was just lovely!!! I was a bit rushed since I got there late, but I shall go back again next week so that I can take my sweet ol’ time...sigh...I got a whole stack of wonderful reads (Virgina Woolf—“A Room of One’s Own”, Marquez’s—“Love in the Time of Cholera” and “Hilo Rains” a Bamboo Ridge collection of Poems) all for just under $25! Last year was the first for my mom and I. We went on the second to the last day and ended up with boxes and boxes of finds! You can't go wrong. We probably should have brought a cart (I even saw someone with a big suitcase) but pushing around boxes worked too. Loved that everything was sorted by genre. Definitely going again this year and happy to give back to our libraries. LOVE this book sale! Last year was the first for my mom and I.
